Sun village, Hamada

Sun village Hamada is a skating rink. It's open from October to May. There are sometimes special events, like figure skating competitions and curling. You can take skating lessons here too.

Getting to Sun village Hamada

It is located in the depth of the mountain, Kamikou Cho, Hamada City. It's kind of hard to find. To get to Sun village Hamada, Please follow the instructions below:

By Bus

After getting off at Kokubundera Bus Stop[国分寺バス停] from Hamada, turn right the crossroads at the entrance to the Seaside Park. It takes 15 minutes by foot.

Around Sun Village Hamada

Near sun village Hamada, there are fun places such as an aquarium, golf links, and Iwami Seaside Park, which has a great beach.

Sun village Hamada is located in a high place, so if you want to go there by car on a snowy day, you have to be careful, with snow tires of course! But the scaking rink is open from October to May, so even if it’s not winter season, you can enjoy skating at there.

There are also sports facilities with fitness machines such as bikes and weight machine. Apart from the skating rink, there is a grass ground for soccer practice, games, and tournaments.Everyone can use this facility. If you can’t skate, the instructors here can teach you.
