Hamada restaurants

We are reviewing some of our favourite restaurants in the area and, in particular, those participating in Hamada's 1400 yen Taste of Hamada campaign.

In the spirit of full disclosure, we were awarded a grant by Hamada City to allow us to visit some of the more expensive places that our own budgets did not stretch to! The city is hoping that more non Japanese residents from nearby places will consider coming to Hamada for sightseeing and to enjoy the local delicacies.

If you like a restaurant in Iwami, please share some info about on our Facebook page. Newcomers to the area would appreciate it. Every year our freshers at University of Shimane want to know nice cafes, cheap mom 'n' pop places, and chic restaurants for dates and birthday parties.
